In-Store Tasting Chateau Lynch Bages

The Wine House is thrilled to welcome Kinou Cazes Hachemian, who represents Château Lynch-Bages and other Cazes family estates, including Château Haut-Batailley and Château Ormes de Pez, throughout North America. Attendees will sample 5 wines from Lynch-Bages, including a vertical of 4 vintages of the Château Lynch-Bages Grand Vin! To round out the tasting, there will be two wines from Château Haut-Batailley and the 2020 Château Ormes de Pez.

The Lynch-Bages vineyard (1855 Grand Cru Classé), overlooks the Gironde estuary and stretches over a beautiful gravelly hilltop. Formerly owned by the Lynch family, of Irish descent, the estate was acquired by the Cazes family in 1939. Noted critic and Bordeaux expert Jane Anson has written “There is little doubt that Lynch-Bages deserves its reputation as one of the true great wines of Bordeaux.”
